梵行（凡泛反梵言梵摩此云清淨或曰清潔正言寂靜葛洪字苑云梵潔取其義矣故二梵本云裒羅那地耶譯言舊第二雜心論云眾具反第二是也）。

> 梵行 (\*fán-fàn fan. The Sanskrit word is brahma; here rendered 'pure' or 'spotless'; the proper rendering is 'tranquil and quiescent'. Ge Hong's Ziyuan says: "梵 means clean", taking this sense. Thus in the Sanskrit text of the two, it is purāṇa-\[dvitīya\], which in translation means the former second. The Abhidharma-saṃyuktābhidharma-hṛdaya-śāstra states: "requisites... fan, the second"; this is it).
