> 傾穨 (The upper character is \[pronounced with the\] fanqie 犬營 \[qīng\]. The Character Books say: "Qing also means to collapse (tui)." Gu Yewang says: "To tilt or lean." Zheng's commentary on the Book of Rites says: "Not upright." The Gujin zhengzi says: "Aslant." Derived from person with xiang phonetic. The Shuowen has it derived from mound, written 𨻺, both sense and usage being identical. The lower character is \[pronounced with the\] fanqie 徒雷 \[tuí\]. The Guangya says: "To break and ruin." The Cangjie pian says: "To fall down." The Jixun says: "To destroy and injure." The Shuowen says: "The appearance of baldness; derived from bald with an abbreviated tui phonetic." Sometimes derived from mound, written 隤, which is also acceptable. In the sūtra text it is written 頹 with the head radical, which is a mistaken popular usage).
