囹圄（上歷丁反下魚舉反鄭注禮記云囹圄所以禁守繫者若今之別獄也說文云守也並從囗令與吾皆聲囗音韋）。

> Prison (囹圄: the first character has the fanqie 歷丁; the second character has the fanqie 魚舉. Zheng Xuan's Commentary on the Book of Rites says: '囹圄 is that which is used to detain and guard prisoners, like modern-day separate prisons.' The Shuowen jiezi says: 'It means to guard.' Both characters are formed from the semantic component "enclosure" (囗), with 令 and 吾 acting as phonetics; 囗 is pronounced 韋).
