色廛（治連反梵言阿縛遮邏此云市廛禮記井廛而不征鄭曰廛謂市物邸舍也廛居也人所居也方言東齊海岱之間謂居曰廛舊云欲行疑誤也案梵名行為僧塞迦囉也）。

> Form marketplace (色廛: fanqie: zh\[ì\] + \[li\]án. The Sanskrit term is avacara, translated here as 'marketplace'. The Liji says: 'Tax the fields and marketplaces without levying tribute.' Zheng \[Xuan\] says: 'Chan refers to inns and shops where market goods are stored.' Chan means dwelling; what people inhabit. The Fangyan says: 'Between Eastern Qi and the sea and Mount Dai, dwelling is called chan.' Old translations gave 'desire realm practice', which is suspected to be erroneous. Note that the Sanskrit term for practice (saṃskāra) is saṃsekala).
