> Aniruddha (阿泥律陀: formerly translated as Aniruddha \[阿那律\], or called Anuruddha \[阿㝹樓馱\], and also called Aniruddha \[阿泥盧豆\]; all refer to the same person. Here it is translated as "Never-Destitute" \[無滅\] or "As-One-Wishes" \[如意\]. Long ago, he offered a single meal to a pratyekabuddha, and for eighty aeons he went back and forth between the human and heavenly realms enjoying bliss, which even down to the present has never ceased; hence he is called "Never-Destitute". Moreover, whatever he sought came about as he wished, so he is also called "As-One-Wishes". He was the son of King Amṛtodana and a paternal cousin of the Buddha).
