瓶瓮（上並冥反字書云𬎩汲水器也又云小缶也古今正字從瓦并聲下蓊貢反古今正字罌也從瓦公聲經文作瓶甕並俗字也）。

> Flasks and jars (瓶瓮: the first character has the fanqie 並冥 \[bìng + míng -\> píng\]; the character dictionaries say: "A \*ping\* (𬎩) is a vessel for drawing water; it also means a small earthenware jar." The \*Gujin zhengzi\* has it with the 'pottery' radical and \*bing\* (并) phonetic. The second character has the fanqie 蓊貢 \[wěng + gòng -\> wèng\]; the \*Gujin zhengzi\* says: "An earthenware jar (\*ying\* 罌); it takes the 'pottery' radical with \*gong\* (公) phonetic." The sūtra text writes them as 瓶 and 甕, which are vulgar characters).
