詶詛（上州又反下側據反鄭注周禮云盟詛之於要誓大事曰盟小事曰詛也說文云詶詛也詛亦詶也詶詛二字並從言州且皆聲論從口呪咀俗字也）。

> Cursing and imprecating 詶詛 (the first character is pronounced with the fanqie 州 + 又; the second character is pronounced with the fanqie 側 + 據; Zheng \[Xuan's\] commentary on the Rites of Zhou says: "Regarding oaths and curses in contractual pledges, major affairs are called covenants (盟) and minor affairs are called imprecations (詛)." The Shuowen jiezi says: "Chou means to curse (詛); zu also means to curse (詶)." Both characters chou and zu take the speech radical 言, with 州 and 且 respectively serving as phonetics. In the Treatise they are written with the mouth radical 口 as 呪 and 咀, which are vulgar characters).
