> Junjiā 麕麚 (The first character has the fanqie 桾雲; jūn has the fanqie 軍殞. Liu Zhao's commentary on the Gongyang zhuan states: "Jun is the river deer (zhang)." The Shuowen jiezi states: "It takes the deer radical with qūn as phonetic; qūn is pronounced jùn." The character dictionaries also write it as 麏, with the same pronunciation. The second character has the fanqie 嫁牙. The Erya states: "Jia is a male deer." The Shuowen jiezi states: "Jia is a female deer; on the day of the summer solstice, deer shed their antlers." It takes the deer radical with jiǎ as phonetic; jiǎ is pronounced gǔ. Transmitted texts write it as 䴥, which is a vulgar character.)
