> 𢏗 ('\[Lord\] Yi'; the first character has the fanqie 霓 + 計 \[yì\]. Kong's commentary on the Analects says: 'Yi was the ruler of the state of Youqiong, skilled in archery; he was killed by his minister Han Zhuo.' The Shuowen jiezi says: 'The archery official under Emperor Ku; eradicated by Shaokang of the Xia. Composed with "bow" (弓) as semantic element and 幵 as phonetic element.' The collected editions have 羿; although it has been commonly used for a long time, it is far from correct. 幵 has the sound 牽 \[qiān\]; 浞 has the fanqie 仕 + 捉 \[zhuó\]; 嚳 has the fanqie 苦 + 屋 \[kù\].)
