臽穽 (The first character is pronounced like \*xiàn\*. The \*Guangya\* says: \*Xiàn\* means a pit. The \*Shuowen\* says: \*Xiàn\* is a small pitfall trap; it is formed with a person atop a mortar, pictographic. In the anthology it is written with 'mound' as 陷, which means falling from a high place, not the sense of a pitfall trap. The second character is pronounced \*qíng-xìng\* \[jǐng\]. The \*Shuowen\* says: \[(叡-(谷-口+目))/井\] also means a pit; it is formed from 𣦻 with \*jǐng\* phonetic. The \*Kaosheng\* writes it as 阱. In the anthology it is written with 'cave' as 穽, which is a vulgar character. 𣦻 is pronounced \*cán\*).
