(Qi is the fanqie qing + yi; ye is the fanqie yi + zhe; the correct Sanskrit term. Formerly rendered as asengqi; this is translated as 'innumerable' (wuyangshu), meaning the culmination of numbers. The Gu Huayan yinyi states: 'Among the one hundred and twenty numbers, the innumerable corresponds to the one hundred and twentieth.' Furthermore, according to the Hīnayāna numbering, Master Cien cited the Abhidharmakośa stating that the original numbers were sixty, eight of which were lost in transmission, and the innumerable corresponds to the fifty-second number.).
