瞖膜（上於計反郭璞云瞖掩也覆也說文云目病也從目殹聲也經文從羽作翳非目瞖下音莫考聲云皮內肉外曰膜說文從肉莫聲經文作瞙亦通）。

> 瞖膜 (The first character is pronounced with the fanqie \*y-\*, \[yi\], from 於 and 計. Guo Pu states: '瞖 means to cover, to conceal.' The \*Shuowen\* states: 'It is an eye ailment; it takes 目 \[eye\] as semantic and 殹 as phonetic.' Sūtra texts write it with 羽 as 翳, which does not refer to cataracts of the eye. The second character is pronounced with the fanqie \[mo\], homophonous with 莫. The \*Kaosheng\* states: 'That which is inside the skin and outside the flesh is called 膜 \[membrane\].' The \*Shuowen\* has it with 肉 \[flesh\] as semantic and 莫 as phonetic. Sūtra texts write 瞙, which is also acceptable.)
