> 赫奕 (The first character is pronounced with the fanqie \*h-\*, \[he\], from 亨 and 格. The \*Erya\* states: '赫赫 means swift.' Guo Pu states: 'It is the appearance of majestic swiftness.' The \*Fangyan\* states: '赫 means to emanate.' The \*Guangya\* states: '赫 means bright.' The \*Shuowen\* states: 'The appearance of intense redness; it is composed of two 赤 \[red\].' The second character is pronounced with the fanqie \*y-\*, \[yi\], from 羊 and 益, or written with 大 as 奕. The commentary to the \*Mao Shi\* states: '奕 means the appearance of great abundance.' The \*Shuowen\* states: 'It takes 火 \[fire\] as semantic and 亦 as phonetic.' Sūtra texts write it with 廾 as 弈, which is also accepted; 廾 is pronounced with the fanqie \*g-\*, \[gong\], homophonous with 拱.)
