- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [3.192](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.2129.3.192)

廁填（上初史反切韻廁間也下唐賢反宜作瑱字漢書訓纂云謂珠玉𡑅坐為飾也又音唐見反今經作填乃是填塞之填非間飾義）。

> Inlaid adornment (廁填: for the upper, chū + shǐ \[chì/cè\]; the Qieyun says, "To interpose." For the lower, táng + xián \[tián\]; it should properly be written with the character 瑱. The Xunzhuan of the Hanshu says, "It refers to pearls and jade set into a seat as adornment." Also pronounced táng + jiàn \[tiàn\]. The current sūtra text has 填, which is the tián of 'filling and blocking' (填塞), not the meaning of inlaid ornamentation).
