魁膾（上苦𭹹反孔注尚書云魁師也鄭注禮記云首也史記云壯夫也從斗鬼聲下瓌外反廣雅曰膾割也案魁膾者屠殺兇惡之師也從肉會聲也）。

> Butcher and executioner (kuikuai 魁膾: the first character has the fanqie \[reading\] ku + \[gui\] \[kui\]. Kong's commentary on the Classic of Documents says: "魁 means a master." Zheng's commentary on the Classic of Rites says: "The head." The Records of the Grand Historian says: "A robust man." It takes 'dipper' \[as semantic component\] and gui as phonetic. The second character has the fanqie \[reading\] gui + wai \[kuai\]. The Guangya says: "膾 means to slice." We note that kuikuai refers to masters of slaughter and ferocious execution. It takes 'flesh' \[as semantic component\] and hui as phonetic).
