> \[Sarvâstivāda\] This means "all exists". This school posits that the three times have real existence, and that all three natures can receive the precepts. The Daji jing says: "Furthermore, reading, reciting, and copying non-Buddhist texts, they accept that there are the three times, as well as the internal and external. Refuting non-Buddhists, they are skilled at debating, and state that all natures are capable of receiving the precepts. Whatever difficult questions are posed, they can answer them all; therefore they are named Sarvâstivāda, and their Dharma is named the Ten-Recitation \[Vinaya\]."
