【末嗟羅】秦言慳。《大品》嗟字門，入諸法嗟字不可得故。論曰：「嗟字，即知一切法無慳無施相。」《華嚴》唱縒（七可切）字時，名修行趣入一切功德海。疏云：「即勇健性。」

> \[Matsara\]: In the language of Qin, it means "miserliness" (mātsarya). The "ca"-syllable door in the Pañcaviṃśati: entering through the fact that in all dharmas, the "ca"-syllable is ungraspable. The Śāstra states: "The 'ca'-syllable means knowing that all dharmas lack the marks of miserliness and giving." When the Avataṃsaka chants the "tsa"-syllable (pronounced qi-ke), it is called "practicing and entering into the ocean of all merits." The commentary says: "It is the nature of valor."
