> \[Kṣa\] (pronounced cang-wo): The "kṣa"-syllable door in the Pañcaviṃśati: entering through the fact that in all dharmas, the "kṣa"-syllable is ungraspable. The Śāstra states: "That is, knowing that the 'kṣa'-syllable is empty, and all dharmas are likewise." When the Avataṃsaka chants the "ysa"-syllable (pronounced yi-ge, su-ge), it is called "proclaiming the realms of all Buddha-dharmas." The commentary says: "That is, the nature and characteristics of decay and old age."
