出三藏記集 1.22

- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [1.22](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.2145.1.22)

無常力甚大　愚智貧富貴　得道及未得
一切無能免　非巧言妙寶　非欺誑力諍
如火燒萬物　無常相法爾

> “The power of impermanence is exceedingly great: / The foolish, the wise, the poor, the rich, the noble, / Those who have attained the Way and those who have not— / None can escape it. / Not by artful words or wondrous treasures, / Nor by deceit or forceful contention \[can it be averted\]; / Just as fire burns myriad things, / The mark of impermanence is naturally thus.”
