> Mahāprajñāpāramitā-sūtra (600 fascicles, 60 cases; translated by Tripiṭaka Master Xuanzang of the Great Tang at Yuhua Palace Monastery; appears in the Fan jing tu).
> The above sūtra comprises a total of sixteen assemblies delivered at four locations, which combine repeated and sole translations; the details are listed as follows:
> First assembly: spoken on Vulture Peak at Rājagṛha (400 fascicles).
> The above is a newly translated sole translation, spanning from fascicle 1 to 400.
> Second (repeated) assembly: spoken on Vulture Peak at Rājagṛha (78 fascicles; fourth translation).
> The above is a newly translated repeated translation. It is a different translation of the same text as the older Pañcaviṃśatisāhasrikā (Dapin), Fangguang, and Guangzan prajñā\[pāramitā\] sūtras, spanning from fascicle 401 to 478. Compared to the older sūtras, it lacks chapters such as Sadāprarudita, but the rest of the meaning is largely identical.
> Third (repeated) assembly: spoken on Vulture Peak at Rājagṛha (59 fascicles).
> The above is a newly translated sole translation, spanning from fascicle 479 to 537.
> Fourth (repeated) assembly: spoken on Vulture Peak at Rājagṛha (18 fascicles; eighth translation).
> The above is a newly translated repeated translation. It is a different translation of the same text as the older Daoxing, Xiaopin, Mingdu, and Chang'an chapter sūtras, spanning from fascicle 538 to 555. Compared to the older sūtras, it likewise lacks chapters such as Sadāprarudita, while the rest of the meaning is no different.
> Fifth (repeated) assembly: spoken on Vulture Peak at Rājagṛha (10 fascicles).
> The above is a newly translated sole translation, spanning from fascicle 556 to 565.
> Sixth (repeated) assembly: spoken on Vulture Peak at Rājagṛha (8 fascicles; second translation).
> The above is a newly translated repeated translation. It is a different translation of the same text as the older Devarājapravara-prajñāpāramitā-sūtra, spanning from fascicle 566 to 573.
> Seventh assembly: spoken in Anāthapiṇḍada's park at Śrāvastī, the Mañjuśrī Section (2 fascicles; third translation).
> The above is a newly translated repeated translation. It is a different translation of the same text as the two older translations of the Mañjuśrī-prajñāpāramitā-sūtra, corresponding to fascicles 574 and 575.
> Eighth (repeated) assembly: spoken in Anāthapiṇḍada's park at Śrāvastī, the Nāgaśrī Section (1 fascicle; third translation).
> The above is a newly translated repeated translation. It is a different translation of the same text as the older Rushi pusa fenwei jing and others, corresponding to fascicle 576.
> Ninth (repeated) assembly: spoken in Anāthapiṇḍada's park at Śrāvastī, the Vajracchedikā Section (1 fascicle; fourth translation).
> The above is a newly translated repeated translation. It is a different translation of the same text as the four newer and older translations of the Diamond Prajñā, corresponding to fascicle 577.
> Tenth assembly: spoken in the palace of the king of the Paranirmitavaśavartin Heaven, the Prajñānaya Section (1 fascicle; first translation).
> The above is a newly translated repeated translation. It is a different translation of the same text as the later translation, the Shixiang bore jing, corresponding to fascicle 578.
> Eleventh (repeated) assembly: spoken in Anāthapiṇḍada's park at Śrāvastī, the Dānapāramitā Section (5 fascicles).
> The above is a newly translated sole translation, spanning from fascicle 579 to 583.
> Twelfth (repeated) assembly: spoken in Anāthapiṇḍada's park at Śrāvastī, the Śīlapāramitā Section (5 fascicles).
> The above is a newly translated sole translation, spanning from fascicle 584 to 588.
> Thirteenth (repeated) assembly: spoken in Anāthapiṇḍada's park at Śrāvastī, the Kṣāntipāramitā Section (1 fascicle).
> The above is a newly translated sole translation, corresponding to fascicle 589.
> Fourteenth (repeated) assembly: spoken in Anāthapiṇḍada's park at Śrāvastī, the Vīryapāramitā Section (1 fascicle).
> The above is a newly translated sole translation, corresponding to fascicle 590.
> Fifteenth (repeated) assembly: spoken on Vulture Peak at Rājagṛha, the Dhyānapāramitā Section (2 fascicles).
> The above is a newly translated sole translation, corresponding to fascicles 591 and 592.
> Sixteenth assembly: spoken beside the Heron Pond in the Bamboo Grove at Rājagṛha, the Prajñāpāramitā Section (8 fascicles).
> The above is a newly translated sole translation, spanning from fascicle 593 to 600.
> Fangguang banruo boluomi jing, 30 fascicles (or 20 fascicles; 3 cases).
> Translated under the Western Jin by Tripiṭaka Master Mokṣala together with Zhu Shulan (second translation).
> Mohe banruo boluomi jing, 40 fascicles (also titled Dapin banruo jing; or 30 fascicles; 4 cases).
> Translated under the Later Qin by Tripiṭaka Master Kumārajīva together with Sengrui and others (second translation).
> Guangzan banruo boluomi jing, 15 fascicles (or 10 fascicles).
> Translated under the Western Jin by Tripiṭaka Master Dharmarakṣa (first translation).
> The above three sūtras are different translations of the same text as the second assembly of the Mahāprajñāpāramitā. The Guangzan banruo is roughly one-third the size of the new sūtra, and after the "Scattering Flowers Chapter" the text is entirely missing. Furthermore, according to the preface to the Xiaopin by Sengrui of the Later Qin: "There are altogether four kinds of primary texts of this sūtra, which were spoken in broad or concise forms by the Buddha at different times to accommodate those being converted. The longer version is said to have 100,000 verses, and the shorter 600 verses. This Dapin is the medium-length version in Tianzhu." In accordance with this medium-length version, we know that it shares the same Sanskrit original as the second assembly of the Great Sūtra (the Mahāprajñāpāramitā-śāstra composed by the Bodhisattva Nāgārjuna comments on the Dapin jing).
> Mohe banruo boluomi chao jing, 5 fascicles (also titled Xuputi pin, also titled Chang'an pin).
> Translated under the Former Qin by the Tianzhu śramaṇa Dharmapriya together with Zhu Fonian (sixth translation).
> The above one sūtra is stated in the two catalogues of Changfang and Neidian to be an abridgment of a foreign sūtra, but upon investigation this remains unconfirmed. Judging by its textual meaning, it is in fact a different translation of the same text as the Xiaopin, Daoxing jing, and others. Therefore, the opening title reads: "Mohe banruo boluomi jing, Daoxing Chapter 1." However, more than two-thirds of the text is missing; based on the Daoxing jing, the final ten chapters are lacking.
> The above two works \[total\] 20 fascicles, in 2 cases.
> Daoxing banruo boluomi jing, 10 fascicles (also titled Banruo daoxing pin; or 8 fascicles; 1 case).
> Translated under the Later Han by the Yuezhi Tripiṭaka Master Lokakṣema (first translation).
> Xiaopin banruo boluomi jing, 10 fascicles (or 7 fascicles, or 8 fascicles; 1 case).
> Translated under the Later Qin by Tripiṭaka Master Kumārajīva (seventh translation).
> Da mingdu wuji jing, 4 fascicles (also simply titled Da mingdu jing; or 6 fascicles).
> Translated under the Wu by the Yuezhi upāsaka Zhi Qian (third translation).
> The above four sūtras are different translations of the same text as the fourth assembly of the Mahāprajñāpāramitā (The Xin daoxing jing translated under the Western Jin by Tripiṭaka Master Dharmarakṣa exists only in name without an actual text; even if preserved in various canons, its text is identical to the Xiaopin, differing only in title, so it is not listed again; of the eight translations earlier and later, five survive and three are lost).
> Sheng tianwang banruo boluomi jing, 7 fascicles.
> Translated under the Chen by Upasunya, prince of the country of Ujjayinī (first translation).
> The above one sūtra is a different translation of the same text as the sixth assembly of the Mahāprajñāpāramitā.
> The above two works \[total\] 11 fascicles, in the same case.
> Wenshushili suoshuo mohe banruo boluomi jing, 2 fascicles (or 1 fascicle, 21 sheets).
> Translated under the Liang by the Funan Tripiṭaka Master Mandrasena (first translation).
> The above one sūtra is also titled Wenshu banruo boluomi jing. The beginning lacks the ten tiers of light, and the end contains the single-practice samādhi; where the text says "Mañjuśrī Kumārabhūta," this is it. It was also incorporated into the Ratnakūṭa as the forty-sixth assembly. Because its title is the same as the subsequent sūtra, for fear of confusion, it is presented again here.
> Wenshushili suoshuo banruo boluomi jing, 1 fascicle (20 sheets).
> Translated under the Liang by the Funan Tripiṭaka Master Saṅghapāla (gleaned and incorporated; third translation).
> The above one sūtra has the ten tiers of light at the beginning, and lacks the single-practice samādhi at the end; where the text says "Mañjuśrī Dharmarājaputra," this is it. In praising the virtues of the bodhisattvas and listing their names at the beginning, this edition is slightly more extensive. Furthermore, these two sūtras each have parts that are broader or more concise than the other.
> The above two sūtras are different translations of the same text as the Mañjuśrī Section of the seventh assembly of the Mahāprajñāpāramitā.
> Rushi pusa wushang qingjing fenwei jing, 2 fascicles (also titled Jueliao zhufa ruhuanhua sanmei jing).
> Translated under the Song by the śramaṇa Master Xiang in Nanhai Commandery (second translation).
> The above one sūtra is a different translation of the same text as the Nāgaśrī Section of the eighth assembly of the Mahāprajñāpāramitā. Comparing the new and old, the older sūtra is slightly broader (of three translations earlier and later, two survive and one is lost).
> Vajracchedikā-prajñāpāramitā-sūtra, 1 fascicle (opening: Śrāvastī).
> Translated under the Later Qin by Tripiṭaka Master Kumārajīva (first translation).
> Vajracchedikā-prajñāpāramitā-sūtra, 1 fascicle (opening: Bhagavān).
> Translated under the Northern Wei by the Tianzhu Tripiṭaka Master Bodhiruci (second translation).
> Vajracchedikā-prajñāpāramitā-sūtra, 1 fascicle (opening: Jeta Grove).
> Translated under the Chen by the Tianzhu Tripiṭaka Master Paramārtha (third translation).
> Nengduan jingang banruo boluomiduo jing, 1 fascicle (opening: Śrāvastī).
> Translated under the Great Tang by Tripiṭaka Master Xuanzang; appears in the Neidian lu (fourth translation).
> Nengduan jingang banruo boluomiduo jing, 1 fascicle (opening: City of Renown).
> Translated in the reign of the Heavenly Empress of the Great Tang by Tripiṭaka Master Yijing (newly catalogued; fifth translation).
> The above five sūtras are different translations of the same text. Its fourth version, the Nengduan banruo, was translated in the twenty-second year of Zhenguan by the śramaṇa Xuanzang while accompanying the imperial retinue at the Hongfa Terrace of Yuhua Palace. Later, in the fifth year of Xianqing, when he translated the Mahāprajñāpāramitā at Yuhua Monastery, it corresponded to the ninth section, the Vajracchedikā Section; the complete text was incorporated and was not re-translated. According to the precedent for various sūtras, when a text ought to be subsumed within a major division, it is treated as an extracted text; in this catalogue, it ought not to be recorded twice. However, because its title is identical to the one translated by the śramaṇa Yijing, for fear of confusion, it is presented again here (treatises composed by three masters all comment on this sūtra).
> Shixiang banruo boluomi jing, 1 fascicle.
> Translated in the reign of the Heavenly Empress of the Great Tang by the Tianzhu Tripiṭaka Master Bodhiruci (appears in the Dazhou lu; second translation).
> The above one sūtra is a different translation of the same text as the Prajñānaya Section of the tenth assembly of the Mahāprajñāpāramitā. However, in the Western Regions there are broad and concise Sanskrit texts; thus, while the textual meaning of the Shixiang and the Lique is identical, their scale differs slightly.
> Renwang huguo banruo boluomi jing, 2 fascicles (or 1 fascicle).
> Translated under the Later Qin by Tripiṭaka Master Kumārajīva (second translation; of three translations, two are lost).
> Mohe banruo boluomi damingzhou jing, 1 fascicle.
> Translated under the Later Qin by Tripiṭaka Master Kumārajīva (appears in the jingti; first translation; gleaned and incorporated).
> Prajñāpāramitā-hṛdaya-sūtra, 1 fascicle.
> Translated under the Great Tang by Tripiṭaka Master Xuanzang (appears in the Neidian lu; second translation).
> The above two sūtras are different translations of the same text (of three translations earlier and later, two survive and one is lost; the Prajñā-hṛdaya was listed as a sole translation in older catalogues, but is newly verified to be a repeated translation; although the overarching principles of the three sūtras including the Renwang banruo harmonize with the major division, the full texts are not found in the major division; they are subsumed under branch divisions and are not derived from it).
> The above twelve works \[total\] 15 fascicles, in the same case.
