> King Prasenajit said: "I view the true nature of the body, and viewing the Buddha is also like this: without a past limit, without a future limit, without a middle limit; neither abiding in the three limits nor separated from the three limits; neither abiding in the five aggregates nor separated from the five aggregates; neither abiding in the four great elements nor separated from the four great elements; neither abiding in the six sense bases nor separated from the six sense bases; neither abiding in the three realms nor separated from the three realms; neither abiding in the directions nor separated from the directions; clarity, ignorance, and so forth are neither one nor different; neither this nor that; neither pure nor defiled; neither conditioned nor unconditioned; without self-marks and without other-marks; without name and without marks; without strength and without weakness; without indication and without explanation; neither giving nor stingy; neither keeping precepts nor violating them; neither patient nor angry; neither energetic nor indolent; neither concentrated nor distracted; neither wise nor foolish; neither coming nor going; neither entering nor exiting; neither a field of merit nor not a field of merit; neither marked nor markless; neither grasping nor abandoning; neither large nor small; neither seen, nor heard, nor sensed, nor known; the paths of mental activity are extinguished, and the way of words and speech is cut off; identical to the limit of reality, equal to the dharmatā—with these characteristics I view the Tathāgata."
