> Sūtra: “Subhūti said: \[...\] is called a great body.”
> Commentary: This is Subhūti answering and confirming. The Tathāgata speaks of the body as long and large because he establishes the characteristic of being neither self nor other. If there were marks of a body distinct as self and other, that would be a non-great body. If one is free from differentiated marks and possesses the mark of tathatā's identical essence, this is called a great body. Therefore, the preceding verse says: “A non-body is precisely a body; therefore it is spoken of as a non-body,” because within that body the mark of neither self nor other is established.
