Sūtra: “Does not produce the mark of phenomena.” / Commentary: This reveals how one does not conceptualize—that is, what the mental aspect is. Herein there are two: first the statement and then the explanation. This is the first. 'Phenomena' are the objects; 'marks' are the mind. Relying on true meditative stabilization and wisdom, one is free from the marks of subject and object; this is the mental aspect of non-conceptualization.
