> \[Sūtra:\] "'An anāgāmin is named a "non-comer," yet in reality there is no coming—for this reason they are named an anāgāmin.'"
>
> This is the fourth \[part\], the explanation. "Anāgāmin" is translated here as "non-comer," and also called "non-returner." Because the taints of the desire realm have already been exhausted, they do not come repeatedly, nor do they return again to the twenty-five states of existence. The clinging to self severed by these \[practitioners\] is also the same as before; hence there is nothing attained.
