> The second section is from "Using the adornments of all pure lands" down to "hearing the immeasurable virtues of the Buddha, his resolve never tires," which explains adducing the buddha-fruit to reveal three kinds of superior matters and establish their practices. Above, having explained that one's own practice and outward transformation will certainly attain the buddha-fruit, next the three matters of the buddha-fruit are adduced to establish their practices. "Using the adornments of all pure lands to accomplish one's own buddha-land": This is the first matter. It explains that because of the adornments of the pure lands of the buddha-fruit, one practices and abides in the essentials to accomplish one's own buddha-land. "Opening the gate of great giving to become fully equipped with the major marks and minor signs": This is the second matter. Giving originally can enhance the physical form; therefore, practicing giving in the causal stage can equip one with the thirty-two marks and eighty secondary signs of the buddha-fruit. Naturally, some have little mind to give but much wealth; others have much mind to give but little wealth. If these two are not both complete, one cannot respond to boundless requests; when these two are both prepared, one satisfies whatever is needed. "Eradicating all evils, purifying body, speech, and mind, through countless kalpas of saṃsāra, the mind remains courageous": This completes the second matter above. It explains that when the cause is pure, the fruit is wondrous: precisely because one can eradicate all evils and purify the three \[actions\], abiding in saṃsāra to transform beings without fear, one attains the pure land and dharmakāya. "Hearing the immeasurable virtues of the Buddha, his resolve never tires": This is the third matter. It explains that hearing the immeasurable merits of the Buddha, one practices and abides in attaining them, and one's aspiration never tires.
