Below, these four verses praise the preceding offering of the canopy and so forth: the three lines 'offer this slight canopy' and so forth are the offering of the canopy; 'within it is manifested' and so forth is the gathering together of the canopies; 'the multitude, beholding' and so forth is the praise of the assembly. Sengzhao says: "'Slight' means small. What was offered was extremely slight; what was seen was extremely vast. This was manifested by the Tathāgata's compassionate pity.
