> "'You cannot know the root capacities of sentient beings; do not arouse them with the Hinayana Dharma. They themselves have no wounds; do not wound them!'" The third: the Mahayana faculty of faith accords with the origin and has no wounds; revealing the Hinayana Dharma is called "wounding." Sengzhao says: Their Mahayana body itself has no wounds or sores; do not pierce and wound it with the thorns of the Hinayana.
