> "'Being non-dual regarding self and non-self is the meaning of non-self.'" Sengzhao says: The Hinayana takes clinging to the self as an encumbrance, and therefore venerates non-self. Once non-self is venerated, it forms a duality with the self. The Mahayana levels right and wrong to one purport; that the two are not distinct is the meaning of non-self. He also says: The other doctrines by analogy with this are likewise identical in non-duality being the true mark.
