> "Therefore, Maitreya, do not entice these devaputras with such a dharma. In truth, there are none who generate the mind of anuttarā-samyak-saṃbodhi, nor are there any who regress." Below, this third part adduces an analogy to counter-refute based on equality. If even the fruit of bodhi has no prediction, how could there be the initial mind or the practice of non-regression? Sengzhao says: In the path of equality, there is in truth no generating of the mind, nor are there any who regress. Yet to use the practice of non-regression to entice them to generate the mind, and to display a fine prediction to them—why do this?
