The following sixteen items explain dwelling in the true bodhimaṇḍa of the true mark with reference to practices. These practices all attain the utmost. Sengzhao states: Generosity without expecting recompense is signless practice. Indeed, to speak of existence without missing anything, and to speak of non-existence without missing anything—having different explanations of existence and non-existence without contradicting the fundamental source—can this not be found solely in the Great Vehicle? Thus, although the myriad practices are distinct, they take signlessness as their essence. Because non-existence is not simply non-existence, existence is true existence; because existence is not simply existence, generosity and morality are one.
