> "Attaining all wisdom and all wholesome dharmas arises from all dharmas that aid the Buddha path." Zhao says: 'All wisdom' is the karmic deed of knowledge; 'all wholesome dharmas' is the karmic deed of merit. Dharmas that aid the Buddha path are the various uncontaminated dharmas of the Great Vehicle. The two karmic deeds of knowledge and merit are not accomplished by contaminated dharmas; their accomplishment depends entirely on the dharmas that aid the Buddha path.
