> The Buddha said: 'Excellent, excellent! Lord of Devas, as you have spoken, I rejoice in sympathy with you. This sūtra expounds at length the inconceivable anuttarā-samyak-saṃbodhi of the Buddhas of the past, future, and present.' From here down is second, why the Buddha praised the Lord of Devas. The text has three parts as before: first, assenting to and praising the Dharma. Sengzhao says: 'He approved his intention to protect and uphold. The inconceivable path of the bodhi of the three times is all set forth in this sūtra. If one accepts, upholds, protects, and nurtures it, one makes offerings to the Buddhas of the three times; hence, "I rejoice in sympathy with you."'
