The fault is no different from before: since he is permitted to go into the army when having a cause or condition, he ought to sit and stay; yet he further makes an effort to go and view it. The fault is the same as the first \[precept\], and for this reason it was instituted. The specific conditions are five: 1. First having a condition to stay overnight in the army; 2. The army in array joining battle; 3. Making an effort to go and view it; 4. Seeing it immediately constitutes the offense. Below is the proper explanation of the Prātimokṣa text.
