> \[Treatise:\] and up to possessing \[virtuous attributes surpassing the sands of the Ganges, differentiated and not identical, all these are\] demonstrated through \[the meaning of the characteristics of the moving mind.\] \[Commentary:\] This generally adduces all defilements to reveal the attributes of all virtues. The word "and up to" is a term of general adduction. The false surpasses the sands of dust; contrastively opposed to this, the true is constantly unmoved. This expresses that the true has attributes of virtue surpassing the sands of the Ganges demonstrated \[through them\]. The meaning in the earlier new translation is largely the same; since there is no divergence, it cannot be quoted at length.
