> At that time, having spoken the verses, the Buddha told those in the assembly: “Seventy thousand Ganges sands of lands to the northwest of this Jambudvīpa, there is a country named Vaidūrya Treasure. The Buddha's name is Accomplished in Wisdom Tathāgata, Arhat, Samyaksambuddha, Vidyācaraṇasaṃpanna, Sugata, Lokavid, Anuttara, Puruṣadamyasārathi, Śāstā Devamanuṣyāṇāṃ, Buddha, Bhagavat. He is now presently preaching the Dharma: good in its beginning, good in its middle, and good in its end. The nature of sentient beings in that land is gentle and pliant; observing the Way is impermanent, they have left behind the three afflictions, being without lust, anger, or delusion, and free from the three evil paths of hells, hungry ghosts, and animals.”
