- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [1.86](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.614.1.86)

> His radiance thoroughly illuminates immeasurable realms; at his birth taking seven steps, opening his mouth to utter essential words; leaving home and striving in austerities; beneath the bodhi tree subduing the army of Māra; in the later night when dawn first broke, attaining unexcelled complete enlightenment; his radiant marks clear and distinct, shining far across the ten directions, nowhere unpervaded; in the sky the devas making offerings of strings and songs, scattering flowers and raining perfumes; all sentient beings having immeasurable veneration; walking alone across the three realms, turning back to look, wheeling like an elephant king; gazing at the tree of awakening; first turning the wheel of the Dharma, devas and humans obtaining realization, verifying it for themselves through the path to reach nirvāṇa.
