> "When this visualization is accomplished, next visualize a nine-tiered vajra canopy emerging from the cintāmaṇi king, covering the practitioner's body. Below is a vajra flower, upon which the practitioner sits. There are vajra mountains surrounding the practitioner on all four sides, closely fitted between them, quiet and cutting off external sounds. Within each and every mountain there sit seven Buddhas, explaining the four applications of mindfulness for the practitioner. At that time, in stillness, external sounds are not heard, in accord with the Buddha's teaching. This is named the Dharma gate for removing distraction and the visualization of dispelling bad sounds."
