> "The method of treating it is: first ingest rich, fatty, good worldly medicine, and then lie on one's back, count the breath to attain concentration, and visualise Lake Anavatapta filled with water to a measure of one yojana, with golden sand, the four treasures, and a golden wheel at its bottom, where golden flowers as large as cartwheels grow. Within the flowers are the heads of four precious beasts—an elephant's trunk pouring out water, a lion's mouth pouring out water, a horse's mouth pouring out water, and a bull's mouth pouring out water—encircling the lake seven times, with the seven-jewelled palace of the Nāga King Anavatapta situated between the four beasts' heads.
