- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [1.53](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.620.1.53)

> "The method of treating it is: instruct this practitioner to contemplate the womb. The womb is located below the stomach and above the large intestine, with ninety-nine layers of membrane like the bladder of a dead pig. Four hundred and four channels stem from the womb, spreading out to the various faculties like tree roots; like a sack filled with dung, it has one thousand nine hundred segments resembling banana leaves, with eighty thousand families of worms surrounding the four hundred and four channels and the womb; like a horse's intestine extending straight to the birth canal, shaped like an armlet, round and of various sizes, circular above and pointed below, resembling cowrie shells.
