> The great assembly present at that time saw the Buddhas: some saw the Buddha's body equal in size to empty space and of pure yellow gold; some saw the Buddha's body like Mount Sumeru made of the four jewels; some saw the Buddha's body the color of vaiḍūrya and ten fathoms tall; some saw the Buddha's body of white silver color and hundreds of thousands of fathoms tall. Some saw Śākyamuni's body as the customary sixteen feet tall; some saw it as seven feet; some saw it as three feet; some saw it reaching everywhere up to the Brahmā world; some saw it as seven inches; some saw it entering a branch of the bowl; and all the ghosts and spirits saw it like a fine dust mote, saw it like a mustard seed, or saw it like a golden grain of millet. Having seen this, the ghosts of small body and others were all greatly delighted.
