The Buddha said: "The calamity of a person being bound to wife, children, and precious houses is worse than prisons, fetters, and chains. In prison there are pardons and releases, but although the passion and desire for wife and children have the calamity of a tiger's mouth, one still willingly casts oneself into them; such guilt is without pardon."
