- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [1.52](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.842.1.52)

> "Kulaputra, if bodhisattvas awaken to pure, perfect enlightenment, with the pure mind of enlightenment they take stillness as their practice; through clarifying all thoughts, they perceive the agitations of consciousness, and still wisdom arises: the adventitious defilements of body and mind are thereby forever extinguished, and internally they are able to give rise to tranquil pliancy. Because of this tranquility, the minds of all Tathāgatas of the worlds of the ten directions appear within it like images in a mirror. This upāya is named śamatha.
