Within it is the Tathāgata, the most supremely distinguished body of all worlds, transcending the stages of body, speech, and mind to reach the stage of the mind, attaining the fruit of extraordinary joy. Upon the eight petals are Ratnaketu Tathāgata, Saṃkusumitarāja Tathāgata, Amitāyus Tathāgata, Dundubhisvararāja Tathāgata, Samantabhadra, Mañjuśrī, Avalokiteśvara, and the honored Maitreya; among all the stamens, the mothers of buddhas and bodhisattvas, the six pāramitās, and their samaya retinues adorn themselves; below are arranged all the vidyādhara wrathful hosts, with the Bodhisattva Vajradhara Lord of Secrets serving as the stem, dwelling in an inexhaustible great ocean; all the terrestrial devas and so forth, immeasurable in number, encircle it. At that time, in order to accomplish the samaya, the practitioner should offer mind-born fragrant flowers, lamp lights, powdered incense, and various food and drink, presenting all of them.” The udāna says:
