“Kiṃ pana, bhante, bhagavatā byākatan”ti?
“Then what has been declared by the Buddha?”
29.2
“Idaṃ dukkhanti kho, poṭṭhapāda, mayā byākataṃ. Ayaṃ dukkhasamudayoti kho, poṭṭhapāda, mayā byākataṃ. Ayaṃ dukkhanirodhoti kho, poṭṭhapāda, mayā byākataṃ. Ayaṃ dukkhanirodhagāminī paṭipadāti kho, poṭṭhapāda, mayā byākatan”ti.
“I have declared this: ‘This is suffering’ … ‘This is the origin of suffering’ … ‘This is the cessation of suffering’ … ‘This is the practice that leads to the cessation of suffering’.”
