> "We have not seen, nor has there been imagined, in him lips of finer coral."
> I wished to describe the beauty of her form, but / the memory of her took me out of myself and speech did not remain in the mouth.
> In the horoscope of her ascendant, the Almagest-knowing sages and Euclid-unraveling geometricians, after investigating the influences of
> the celestial cycles and the requirements of the motion of the planets of heaven, have written thus: that in the garden of hope of whomever this fresh-faced
> one smiles, into the casket of the house of whomever this precious pearl settles, the fruit of purpose—the attainment of which was far beyond
> the reach of far-sighted thought—shall be placed in the hand of his intent, and every gem of desire whose acquisition
> is bound to the endurance of hardships and the witnessing of perils shall be laid in his skirt in the easiest of manners. And like Alexander he shall become
> ruler and conqueror over the expanses of sea and land and in the realms of the seven climes; and Solomon-like, human and jinn will depict
> from heart and soul the mark of obedience and submission to him like an engraving upon their world-viewing eye; and wild beasts,
> game, livestock, and vermin shall not withdraw their heads from the halter of his obedience nor their feet from the circle of his compliance. The dwellers of the dry land
> shall apply the dust of his feet to their eyes like kohl, and the inhabitants of the water, out of dread of his lustrous sword, like the lotus
> shall cast their heads upon the face of the water. Verse:
