Mullik Fukhr-ood-Deen slays Kuddur Khan, the governor of Bengal, and proclaims himself King —he is slain by Alla-ood-Deen.
The first Moslem chief who invaded the kingdom of Bengal was Mullik Mahomed Bukhtyar, in the reign of Kootb-ood-Deen Eibuk, King of Dehly, in the year 587. After which, the several governors of that country were appointed from the capital, as is mentioned in the Dehly history. When Mullik Fukhr-ood-Deen put to death Kuddur Khan, the governor of Bengal, in the reign of Toghluk, he proclaimed himself king, and declared his independence from the throne of Dehly.
Mullik Fukhr-ood-Deen was originally a soldier in the service of Kuddur Khan, governor of Bengal.
