tatra tattvam abhiyogaviśeṣāt syāt //
In that case, the true state of affairs would be known from the distinction of expert practice. //
112.2
kathaṃ punas tatra tattvaṃ śakyaṃ vijñātum. śakyam ity āha. arthino hy abhiyuktā bhavanti. dṛśyate cābhiyuktānāṃ guṇayatām avismaraṇam upapannam. pratyakṣaṃ caitad guṇyamānaṃ na bhraśyata iti. tasmād yam abhiyuktā upadiśanti, eṣa eva sādhur ity avagantavyaḥ.
How, then, can the truth in that matter be known? It can be known, he says. For seekers [after the correct form] are experts. And it is seen that non-forgetting is appropriate for experts who practice repeatedly. And it is perceptible that what is repeatedly practiced is not lost. Therefore, that which the experts teach—that alone is to be understood as the correct word.
