> \[25\] Here, we do not rely on conventional usage only in the occurrence of that two-syllable word \[śrī\], but in meditation as well. However, Śuka's restatement, "Not this one, on the chest of Śrī...", reveals the surpassment of ordinary Lakṣmī. Viriñci's word, "thousands of Lakṣmīs...", acknowledges their being distinct Lakṣmīs, because here, as with the words "Kuru" and "Pāṇḍava", they are considered to express a part or the whole according to the occasion. That being so, there too Rādhā is supreme, as stated in the Matsya \[Purāṇa\] mixed with the Padma, Skanda, and Varāha, and as spoken in the tantra named Govinda-vṛndāvana—how could that be otherwise?
> Lakṣmī is heralded everywhere as the supreme woman; the gopīs are the most supreme Lakṣmīs;
> if Rādhā is the most supreme gopī, what woman could possibly be her equal? || 15
