And asked by them, "From where have you gentlemen, resembling marvelous dancers, arrived?", delighted in heart, they clearly explained: "O supreme heroes of generosity! We have come from afar, because first our minds were set dancing by your fame, and then we also desire to dance before you with our bodies. We are unable to remain anywhere for long. Bearing delight to our eyes as well as our ears, we now stand \[before you\]."

How much indeed can we honor our mind with praise, by which we might be encouraged with joy right there? What was not traversed all around by the two feet, by which we were brought to the path of our desires? What other delight can we bestow upon the pair of eyes, by which we might experience that sweetness taught by our teachers? What may we not obtain from our two nostrils, by which we are filled with joy by this fragrance? What speech can we utter for the skin, by which we can bathe in this fragrant wind related to them? As for the soul, how much attribution would a fortune bearing an auspicious name find, by the ring of fruits of which we are encompassed within and without?

> Ah! Let alone the splendid presence of this great king who bestows beauty by his very name, even the Upaniṣads are not able to describe the greatness of these assembly members, for whose sake, even forgetting ourselves, we pursue the dance! What unmixed \[favor\] was not bestowed upon us by these whose feet possess great dignity, so that by their glances surpassing the world we are made gods \[unwinking\]? How many times have we not been protected personally, so that drinking in their shade we are fulfilled? Or what nourishment pleasing the mind was not performed, so that we are satiated by the nectar-showers of their glances? Look, look at the wondrous movement of their eyes, by which indeed, as they instruct the dance, we are favored! Therefore, eager to serve the practice of dancing, seeking a suitable opportunity for that very purpose, we stand \[here\]."
