Wandering around in this very way, seeing even the women of the inner apartments who surpassed the stamp of beauty of sleepless celestial maidens lying down in the bedchamber surrounded by courtesans without any hindrance, but having his desire frustrated there, Māruti, entertaining many kinds of worries, jumped down from the rampart and bowed to his chosen deity in order to search for the princess of Mithilā in the Aśoka grove as well.
Searching here and there for Janaka's daughter, in a moment / he reached the Aśoka grove, free from wandering on any other path, / just as a sage, whose wealth is tranquility, desiring the highest state and free of possessiveness, / approaches the Triple Veda, the sole divine medicine that quells all sins.
